Viva Van, EUROBANK do not keep customer credit card data in their systems
All data from Viva Van is transmitted encrypted to the cooperating Banks.
Ensuring the Confidentiality of Data Transfer Viva Van
To ensure the confidentiality of data transfer, we use the SSL-256bit encryption protocol. The system has been implemented in collaboration with the company Rapid SSL, which specializes in transaction security issues.
Stripe Controlled Access
Access to Stripe's systems is made in a completely secure environment where leading technology is provided to protect personal data and transactions. Stripe provides advanced technology in terms of security of transactions and user data and uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layers) protocol by encrypting data with a 128-bit security key.
From the beginning to the end of your mobile payment process, all your card details, as well as your personal data, are encrypted with the Stripe security protocol, ensuring you absolute security and confidentiality.
Eurobank Encryption
From the beginning to the end of your connection (on-line session), all your information and personal details are encrypted based on the RC4 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is essentially a way of encoding information until it reaches its intended recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key. Every time you pay with Eurobank, all communication between your computer and Eurobank's systems is encrypted using a 128-bit key from VeriSign. That is, every time you send information to the system, your browser first encrypts it using a 128-bit key and then sends it to the system. Eurobank's system first decrypts the information it receives using the same key (which is predetermined when you start your connection to the service) and then processes it. Eurobank's systems send you information following the same encryption process.
Peiraeus Encryption

Respecting personal data, Stripe, Eurobank, Peiraeus and Viva Van maintain your personal information on a secure central server/s. In accordance with Law 2472/1997 "On the protection of individuals from the processing of personal data", the personal data of all employees, associates, customers and suppliers that come to its knowledge in the context of the employment relationship or the cooperation or transaction relationship, are registered in a data file and may be further transmitted to Greece or abroad, provided that the record keeping and transmission of the data are always carried out in accordance with the business purposes of the company and the Law.
